Bera Vittorio e Figli

The Bera family has been making viticulture in the hills of Astesana in Canelli since 1758. It is those lean and bitter hills, but strongly suited to the production of wine, that have conquered their ancestor Giovanni Battista to buy them. In 1964, the conversion to organic farming took place, a choice that has been tenaciously pursued to this day by the sons Vittorio, Gianluigi and Alessandra as a real philosophy of life. Today the company runs ten hectares of property in a strictly familiar way in Canelli, in the Serramasio area, in the heart of the most classic and ancient production area of Moscato d'Asti. In the same way, in the cellar we operate by minimizing intervention, to obtain a wine that is of maximum territorial expression. In this way, wines are obtained without the use of selected yeasts, enzymes, chemical-physical treatments of various kinds, concentrations and so on. The flagship of the company is Moscato d'Asti, with a powerful and sunny but elegant structure, to which are added small but qualified productions of the most classic and traditional wines of the “Astese homeland”.
