Ca’ Lojera

It is said that once, when the Garda and the Frassino lake were connected by a dense network of waterways, “black merchants” arrived by boat, using the houses by the lake as a hiding place for smuggled goods – and there was who swears that this house was defended by wolves. Tenuta Ca’Lojera, of  Tiraboschi family, means “house of wolves“ The winery makes wine only from its own grapes, 20 hectares of Lugana are located in the white clays that once were the bottom of the lake and on the first morainic hill Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The company produces about 160.000 bottles per year, distributed on the national market in restaurants, wine bars and wine bars and also in a good percentage exported.
