Livio Felluga

Our company, located in Località Bussia in Monforte d’Alba, produces about 150,000 bottles a year on 28 hectares.
Our work focuses on indigenous grape varieties of our region, Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo. With Nebbiolo grapes we produce the Langhe DOC Nebbiolo which lends itself well to telling the Parusso style, as well as our classic Barolo DOCG. Our 3 Cru di Barolo also come from Nebbiolo: Bussia, Mosconi and Mariondino which, although vinified following the same techniques, are very different voices and expressions of the terroirs from which they come.
In Friuli, and now not only in this land chosen for men and wines, Livio Felluga identifies himself with the best winemaking tradition.
A consolidated tradition of love that has lasted for five generations, since the family produced Refosco and Malvasia on the island of Istria.
Seventy years ago Livio Felluga, who has the great privilege of being considered the "patriarch" of Friulian viticulture, the eldest son of the fourth generation, moved the business to Friuli.
In the fifties he founded the Brazzano winery and consecrated his love for the hills by purchasing the first vineyards in Rosazzo with happy intuition.
His race for success is destined to perpetuate itself in the name of a full, absolute and also stubborn devotion to the land.
He knows it clod by clod, he lives it and breathes it precisely because over the years, with patience and determination, he has been able to shape it with a soft hand, without abuse and without violence, to obtain the best. Rosazzo is proof of this.
Today the company boasts a hilly extension in the Collio and in the Colli Orientali del Friuli of over 160 hectares of property, of which 155 are vineyards.
From these plants only great wines with unmistakable perfumes and aromas: they are the wines of the "geographical map".
