The Sanchez distillery represents the culture, tradition and art of Candelaria Yegole, a small village in the Southern Sierra, with fertile soil on which more than ten varieties of agaves grow.
"Destiladora Sanchez" today represents the passion of a people dedicated to the production of artisanal mezcal. The Sanchez distillery is committed to the conservation of wild agaves: in the second half of 2013 a nursery was built with about 8,000 Mexican agave plants of the Rodacantha variety, currently in danger of extinction.
