Chateau Bouqueyran

Bernique de Bouqueyran owned the property from 1465 to 1475. The last landowner of this fiefdom was Jean de Genouillat. The lords of Bouqueyran have now disappeared, but the nobility of their vineyard remains. Louis Fronsac, owner at the beginning of the century, collected forty barrels on the croup of the Bouqueyran and on the southern side was Puy de Minjon. The finesse and elegance of its wines have made it a Cru Bourgeois Supérieur. Since 1995 the estate has been under the direction of Philippe Porcheron.
