The winery is definitively the hearth of the estate. The winery is located in the ground floor of an old farmhouse of the eighteen century which has been carefully restored. The large French-oak and Slavonian-oak barrel are positioned in the space which was the old stall of the farmstead. From this place there is the access to the old vault cave, which is partially dug into the underlying clay. One a time, it was an ice-house: the snow, pressed with straw, helped to store foods during the year. Nowadays, thanks to perfect temperature and humidity conditions, it has been converted as a cellar intended to house some barriques and tonneaux. As the winery’s business has gradually grown, the cellar too had to be expanded. The new facility has been entirely built underground. Its architecture has been studied to reach a perfect balance of temperature and humidity. The new space includes several locations: the space intended for wine production and storage, the tasting room and the barrique cellar. This space is designed to age and mature wines and it is characterized by the unique terracotta vaults and the oak wall-cladding.
